Where's the head?

I used my flaslight to light up Harry's face. Nettie's statue cost $800. This one about $50K

Katie M

There I was. Walking towards Delicate Arch. Just minding my own business, when I passed a girl that looked familiar. I glanced behind me and she was glancing behind her because she thought I looked familiar too. Katie M worked in our office earliar this year.

Bret & Jewel's New Driveway

I heard that they were getting a new driveway but knew less about concrete than I did. I showed up and played 'Inspector'. I asked questions like who is supplying the concrete? He didn't know. He thought Monroc. They've been gone for 10 years. How many bag mix did you get? Did you order 'air entrainment' in the mix? Did you order 'calcium chloride' for the lazy man's way to add heat during the cure? I had to call Metro to find out the answers. He almost had his buddies pick up their tools and leave. He agreed to bring his blankets tomorrow before the freeze hit. It has to be protected from freezing for at least a week. He is a laborer that got layed off and went driving around looking for bad driveways. If you don't know concrete, know a contractor! All I know is enough to be obnoxious. Oh! He didn't order air entrainment, but Metro knew enough to add it. It keeps concrete from breaking in it gets salt on it.

Flying J has nothing over the Petro

The Skull assortment at Petro Truck Stop is smaller but of better quality than Flying J. Do you concur?

Kara Karries the Karioki group with help from Hal Chuck Johnny

Mont & Cindie's Halloween Party was fun but 15 degrees colder than
normal which is just cold. Lots of cookies left over. Hot chocolate
ran our first hour. Rosie Peterson sings the backup.

Lego Land

This is what Disney was trying to biuld when he started Disneyland.
It's a place where families with young children can go to have a good
time. Once kids are older than about 10, I think they lose interest
in the attractions.

More Oregon Scenes

Bret shows off the ice stuck to his bike. Road are warm enough with
the daylight to keep ice off but air temp is 28f.
Dallas, Bret, and Justin climb out on a fallen giant. This tree could
build a big house.
Justin shows how many mpg he can get driving 59 mph along the Columbia
river dragging Charmac and 3 hogs. (1 ton of bikes)!

Redwoods and young hippies.

These trees are pretty old. The drive through was 2400 years.
Lunch in Garberville at Paradise Grill. The town is full of very
strange, lost youth trying to recreate the 70's or more likely just
avoiding becoming adults with jobs and a consummer mentality. Typical
of North CA Obama fans.

The mind is a terrble thing to waste

The United Negro College Fund slogan was twisted accidently by Vice
Pres. Dan Quail into "It's a terrible thing to have a wasted mind."
The old fellow to my left has the sleeve of his shirt pinned on and
his old polyester slacks are worn so shiney that I thought they could
be a Michael Jackson stage costume except the seat was entirely made
of duct tape. He was reading the USA Today and pouring over a
crossword paperback. He must be a local legend because a business man
passed by with his breakfast to go and greeted the old fellow by name.

Jewell is in her glory at the Easter Seals Thrift Shop. It's half
price day and Brett has a new kilt now for $3.00. That's about £1.5
for you UK types.

2009 Street Vibrations RENO NV

Here's my wallet, just don't hurt me!

This young man was voted "Most Likely to Suceed" by his pre school
class. His daddy had a tat of this boy on his arm. Dad was holding a
shopping bag that you could throw a dollar into it to take a picture
of him. Junior was quite a performer and his dad played the part of
the monkey with the tin cup. I've scheduled a play date for my
grandsons with him.

Antique truck show

First picture is Jim "High Range" Haskins and his wife. They won the quilt behind them. When I drove for WW Clyde 37 years ago, High Range was the night mechanic on the shift I worked. For many years he was the mechanic at "Robinson's Trucks For Viewing" museum. After Art R. died, his wife died a few months later, the step daughter (with a fresh power of attourney) said no more money spent on museum and so no more job for High Range.
Next picture is stuff I won in raffle.
3rd picture is Jeff England with his long nose KW W900A show truck. Jeff is the grandson of Chester England who started the nations largest refrigerated trucking co. Jeff's brother Dan operates CR England today with his family. Jeff started Pride Transport about 34 years ago. Jeff started a truck show that is now held at Thanksgiving Point to benefit kids with kidney disease by sending them to Camp Kostopolous. The reason I mention him is that he asked our club members if they were going to put trucks in his show and one them said, "You've never put one in our show!" This year Jeff came with two trucks and the most beautiful 55 Chevy ever.
Last pix is my dear friend Danny Shimizu who has suffered shingles, bleeding ulcers, colon cancer, and currently in a daily battle with type II diabetes. He is the Utah King of old trucks and military vehicles with over 150 pieces. I hope he lives forever but if he doesn't, I could buy my Grandpa Provstgard's 1950 KW back into the family. I already bought his old Twamco lowboy back to go with it. Thanks for looking.

One is small and one is far away.

Driving near Jim Bridger Power Plant on I-80 about mile 145 you can
see this amazing machine. This dragline strips the earth off of the
vein of coal so that it can be mine and turned into electricity. The
bucket is big enough to hold a high school band. My good old Ravens
flatbed is in the rear view mirror. I took some pipe to a Chevron
Natural Gas pumping station in Table Rock WY. This machine looks
surreal at night with lights on both sides of the boom. It looks like
a scene from 'DUNE'.

BYU v OU Whoda thunkit

This reminds me of the photo I took at the Sugar Bowl before the game
got underway and the inevitable butt kicking by the opposing team
began. I wanted a photo taken before the game got out of hand. I
didn't believe lightning could strike twice in the same athletic
conference know as the Mountain West.

I picked up this trailer in KC MO when Henry was born. It was black
and rust. It has been repainted to honor Henry. First load on new
